Our Story
Life after retiring from the Air Force was a crossroads for me. Having dedicated a significant part of my life to serving in the military, I found myself at a juncture, searching for what would ignite the same passion in me in civilian life.
Cooking and baking have always been more than just hobbies for me. They were my creative outlets, my stress relievers, and my joy. At the heart of many of my favorite recipes was one common ingredient: a nice, strong, pure vanilla. Its rich aroma and complex flavor profile have the power to transform any dish, making it an essential in my kitchen.
However, I found that I would quickly run out of this precious ingredient due to my frequent use. That's when the idea struck me - why not produce my own vanilla? This thought marked the beginning of a new journey for me. I threw myself into learning everything I could about vanilla production, from the cultivation of the orchids (as the vanilla bean comes from an orchid) to the extraction of the flavor.
After much trial and error, I finally created a vanilla product that I was truly proud of. But I didn't stop there. I realized that there were likely many others out there, just like me, who appreciated the exquisite flavor of high-quality vanilla.
